Professional Wood Floor Sanding
Nolan Flooring are a leading commercial and domestic floor sanding contractor.
We are very experienced commercial floor sanding specialists and use proven methods of wood floor sanding and floor restoration that will leave your floor neat and tidy with a smooth, professional finish.
We commence by sanding down all of the existing floor by using five grades of abrasive belts decreasing in coarseness upon each sand.
When we have achieved a perfectly fine finish we would then apply the stain (if required),followed by 2 to 3 coats (depending on the customers preference, i.e oil, wax or seal).
This will be buffed after each application to ensure no undulations occur on the surface.

The process's we go through to improve and restore your wood flooring
All flooring in any condition or age can be improved upon.
To achieve highest possible results we aim to use traditional methods of sanding, which means mixing the clean dust from the floor with an oil based resin.
Once the resin is to the correct density, a flat trowel is used to fill in any gaps along the floorboards.
This technique can be used on parquet, strip, original floor boards and herringbone, however with original floor boards we do recommend that gaps are no bigger then 2-3mm as the filler may fall through over time.
